Cranberry, Orange, and Nut Delight

1/2 C. Cranberries (fresh)

1 Orange (peeled and sectioned)

1/4 C. Assorted Nuts (shelled)

In food prosessor "course" chop  Cranberries, Oranges and Nuts. Spread out on cookie sheet and freeze. Once frozen, break up and put in freezer bag. Keep in freezer until ready to use. I serve about a 1/2 tsp per bird.

Sweet Potato Balls

1 large sweet potato, cooked

½ c. raisins

1 mashed banana

1 c. mixed vegetables fresh or frozen

1 c. diced apples

1 ½ c. uncooked oatmeal, corn flakes, or granola cereal.

Mix all together and add just enough fruit or vegetable juice to make it form into "small balls". Place the balls on a cookie sheet and freeze until hard. After they are hard, transfer to a container and keep frozen. Defrost and serve individually.

Cherrio Treat

String a bunch of Cheerios through a pipe cleaner or leather shoe lace leaving one inch at both ends. Twist or tie the ends together. Lightly spread some peanut butter onto the Cheerios (just enough for the seeds to stay). Dip the ring into a bunch of seeds or a shelled nut and seed mixture. Hang in your baby's cage.
